Everyone, of course, is abuzz with the Times' unusually well-timed "expose" about the NSA matter. John Hinderaker, at Power Line, actually wrote to Eric Lichtblau, who authored the article, questioning him about the article's failure to inform people that there was (and is) a good argument to be made that Bush's activities were entirely legal (leaving aside the fact that Clinton, of course, did precisely the same type of stuff). What followed is a fascinating colloquy between Hinderaker and Lichtblau, where you see a powerful, honest mind (that would be Hinderaker) squash a weak, dishonest mind (I'll leave you to guess whose mind that is).
