Too much of a muchness

Am I being prudish, or is the latest fashion in maternity wear a bit much? I mean the fashion where the woman's pants or skirt stop under her big pregnant belly, and her shirt starts over or about halfway up the same belly. I know the whole mantra about pregnancy is beautiful, blah, blah, blah (been there, done that), but I really don't want to see so much of someone else's pregnant body.
