Woof, woof, woof, grrrrr! (Or, I like that car!)

Honda has designed a concept car that's intended to make it easier for car owners to travel with their pets. It's got little gimics for creating a safer, easier environment for dogs and cats. It's not a bad idea, but I especially liked this bit:

The W.O.W comes with removable, washable, rollout flooring and has wide sliding doors to keep dogs happy. "We created this vehicle from the point of view of a dog, but it turned out to be a gentler vehicle for the elderly, children and other family members," said Honda designer Katsuhito Nakamura.

Well, as someone who is finally done with the toddler phase (how can so many crackers spill on one floor), it sounds friendlier to me too. I also really like the fact that the dog they used on the demonstrations for reporters is a corgi:
