If you'd like a comprehensive indictment of the European political and economic models, you need not look any further than this Karl Zinsmeister article. It discusses the top down politics, where elite leadership pursues ideas that most citizens reject, the reflexive anti-Americanism, and the continued (indeed, increasing) investment in the failed socialist economic model. It all makes for interesting and informative reading.
