I'm sure it's a good book, but....

I got the following promo from Townhall.com and had a good laugh. Here's what caught my eye:

The Grammar Bible by Michael Strumpf; Auriel Douglas No one knows grammar like Michael Strumpf. For 25 years, as founder of the National Grammar Hotline, he has helped thousands of callers tackle the thorniest issues of English grammar.
I know I'm a grammar purist, but anyone who grew up in the 1960s and heard the Winston Cigarette commercials know that this sentence, to be correct, should read, "No one knows grammer as does [or "as well as"] Michael Strumpf." The sentence in its current form may be colloquially correct, but it's grammatically incorrect.
