Are technical difficulties contagious?

I think Anne's technical problems, over at PalmTree Pundit must be catching. This morning, my modem stopped working, then my computer gave up, and after that my cell phone died. I'm posting from a friend's computer now, but don't expect too much today, since I'm removed from my usual posting haunts.
