Sometimes death is easier

The headlines after terrorist bombings always highlight the number killed, with an aside about the number wounded, "some critically." At this amazing website, we hear about one of those wounded by a Palestinian terrorist attack in Tel Aviv. Kinneret Boosany was only 24 when a terrorist blew himself up in the bar where she worked. Because she was near alcohol, she was engulfed in flames, and given only a 16% chance of surviving. She did survive, and her progress is documented in incredibe photographs here. Because her radiant pre-bombing beauty has been destroyed, it's especially moving to see what a strong, determined person she was within, attributes that survive all physical vicissitudes.
