Break out the champagne

In a remarkably optimistic column, Charles Krauthammer makes the case that Israel, through a series of unilateral intelligent acts (aided by Arafat's death), has ended the Intifadah, and created the conditions for real peace in the Middle East. There's no one paragraph in the article that conveys the whole flavor, so I won't bother including a quotation here. However, if the Israeli/Palestinian conflict interests you, I urge you to read Krauthammer's column.
