All I knew was what I read in the papers
All I knew about Jack Kevorkian is what I gleaned from the MSM in the 1990s. He seemed like a humanitarian pioneer against the horrors of the worst a dying human body can visit on itself. Oh, how a little real information can change our points of view. In reporting on a proposed hagiographic film about Kevorkian that is being bandied about Hollywood, Wesley J. Smith offers some actual facts, and they are appalling. Take away the pretty, media-friendly trappings, and Kevorkian was an animal praying on the mentally ill for his own twisted devices and, in the end, nothing more than an ordinary murderer.
