AP continues to deep six the French rioters' identities

Once again, AP is working diligently to keep the public from learning that the French rioters aren't just any "youths" but are in fact driven by an Islamic agenda. Here is a 745 work article that never once identifies the rioters as Muslims. Instead, they "youths" are identified only as Arabs and Africans, and confidently places the blame on a lack of economic opportunties:

From an outburst of anger in suburban Paris housing projects, the violence has fanned out into a nationwide show of disdain for French authority from youths and minorities, most French-born children of Arab and black Africans angered by years of unequal opportunities.
In one clever paragraph, the whole simmering Eurarabia war is reduced to the usual Marxist melange of imperialist racism and class warfare. Only in the last paragraph is the Muslim factor even mentioned and then in so oblique a way as to make one wonder why this bit of information is even relevant to the article:
Government officials have held a series of meetings with Muslim religious leaders, local officials and youths from poor suburbs to try to calm the violence.
"Hmm," says someone uninformed. "Why are they talking only to Muslim religous leaders?" It seems to me that it's the press' responsibility to connect the dots not (if you'll pardon the traveling metaphor) to hide the ball.
