I have a really good excuse for my blogging silence this morning

We've got a fuzzy new addition to the family. This morning, I brought home a very little, very frightened rescue dog from Hurricane Katrina. We'll be fostering her for a couple of months and then, if her owners haven't claimed her, we get to keep her. She is utterly charming, smart as a whip and perfectly beautiful. And all that is revealed despite her being so frightened and emaciated. More news to come but I'd better get back to my real work after spending so much time settling in this delightful new morsel.
