Be aware of inhalant abuse

I just got a heartbreaking email with a detailed story, written by a police officer who is savvy about youngsters' drug use, recounting how is son died from inhaling Dust-Off, a spray used to help dust computers. My first thought, of course, was that the email was an urban legend, along the lines of the students who took LSD and went blind staring at the sun. Sadly, though, it's an entirely true story. After his son's death, the father bravely recounted precisely what happened as a warning to other teens and their parents about the dangers associated with sniffing inhalants. Check your house; educate your children.
