Do you think the NY Times is trying to make a point

I found interesting the theme represented by three of the top four articles found at 2:30 P.S.T. on July 5 in the NYT Times Most E-Mailed Articles for the past 24 Hours:

1. HEALTH | July 5, 2005 Straight, Gay or Lying? Bisexuality Revisited By BENEDICT CAREY A new study casts doubt on whether true bisexuality exists, at least in men. 2. OPINION | July 5, 2005 Op-Ed Contributor: The Heterosexual Revolution By STEPHANIE COONTZ Traditional marriage, with its long history, was upended by heterosexuals. Gays and lesbians simply noticed that with its new norms, marriage could work for them, too. 3. OPINION | July 5, 2005 Op-Ed Columnist: Your Land Is My Land By JOHN TIERNEY To the candidates for Sandra Day O'Connor's job: I recommend a trip to my hometown of Pittsburgh to see the long-term effects of eminent domain. 4. NATIONAL | July 5, 2005 United Church of Christ Backs Same-Sex Marriage By SHAILA DEWAN The United Church of Christ became the first mainline Christian denomination to support same-sex marriage officially.
