Isn't it nice to know that our intelligence community cares -- not!

The guys and gals over at The Counterterrorism Blog point out the arrest of two South African terrorist types heading to Sierra Leone. And this is what they have to say about those arrests:

These arrests add weight to the evidence that al Qaeda continues to operate out of West Africa, and remains involved in the diamond trade, despite the notable lack of interest of the U.S. intelligence community.

I don't find this very comforting.
