Yahoo! News - Judge Awards $156M to Dead Teen's Parents: "Three Islamic charities and an alleged fund-raiser for the Palestinian militant group Hamas were ordered Wednesday to pay $156 million to the parents of an American teenager killed by terrorists outside Jersusalem." I can't figure out what conclusion to draw from this story. I am, of course, delighted for the family. Money won't do anything to assuage their loss, but it does send a strong message to groups that thought they were keeping their hands and noses clean as long as they just collected and sent the money, but didn't actually pull the trigger. It's just surprising that an American judge would go along with this, since it's somehow a very un-P.C. verdict.
