Bad Schwarzenegger -- he hurt the poor nurses feelings!

Arnold made an "Arnoldian" jest at the expense of a small number of protesters and got a good scolding for doing so:

"Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, speaking Tuesday to open an annual conference celebrating women's contributions to the state, dismissed California nurses who protested his health care policies as 'special interests'' who are mad because 'I kick their butt.'"

Somehow Schwarzenegger's statement -- and the attendant outrage from nurses -- harmonizes well with Dennis Prager's point (which I've linked to below) that liberals frame debate in terms of whether their feelings are hurt or not. UPDATE: Turns out that, while the nurses weren't that thrilled by Arnold's comment, the hysteria in the article I linked to above comes primarily from the article's author, a fact nicely demonstrated here.
