A man's home is his . . .

Believe it or not, in England, you have no right to defend yourself against intruders in your own home, something that has become a big deal in the wake of two brutal homeowner murders. Many have pointed out that, if the homeowners had successfully defended themselves against those murderous attacks, they would have found themselves in the dock. Not unsurprisingly, the fact that homeowners have been rendered helpless has led to a surge in burglaries, often with violent and tragic outcomes.
