Collision between perception and reality at an LA Hospital

Really depressing LA Times Article about the utter casual corruption amongst employees and management at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center. I've heard of this place before, because it's always held up as an example of how "white" government stiffs institutions that serve poor blacks. It turns out that, as I noted above, it's the employees and management that are stiffing the poor blacks, while the "white" government pours money into the sinkhole. Always interesting when perception comes face to face with reality.
