Point to ponder

Here's something to think about: Without doing any research, I can easily name more than a half dozen Hollywood celebrities who went into politics over the last sixty years. This mental list has on it George Murphy, Rex Bell, Dick Powell, Ronald Reagan, Fred Johnson, Sonny Bono, Fred Grandy, and Ah-nold. The distinguishing thing about all of these men is that they all chose to enter politics as Republicans. What I can't think of is a single Hollywood celebrity who has entered politics on the Democratic side. Can you think of anyone? I've been racking my brain for a few days now. And if I'm right that no actor has chosen to enter politics as a Democratic candidate, why the difference?
